How the game was made
This game started as a quick prototype of different things you could do with a grappling hook and it very quickly turned into a Chainblade. A sword that could unleash from the hilt and be used as a chain to grapple enemies and objects to swing and launch from. From there we saw how fast you could get moving with this Chainblade and decided to make it a speed running, platforming hack-n-slash game!

The game was built in Godot and we programmed it in GDScript. I was the one of the main gameplay programmers and worked on the grappling system a lot to make sure it felt like you were going fast while using the Chainblade.
